Permanent Full Time Band 7 Position: $94,697 – $105,930 p.a. plus superannuation and monthly accrued day off

We are seeking a passionate, collaborative, inclusive strategic thinker to develop strong relationships across the community and Council to establish, develop and deliver the strategic direction of recreation and open space programming, services and facility provision in the municipality.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans, policies, projects and services. You understand and can manage diverse and competing stakeholder needs and you provide innovative solutions to deliver community focused outcomes. Undertaking research and data analysis, following industry trends, engaging with and understanding your community and reporting your evidence-based research on sport, recreation and leisure trends is what you do.
Ideally, you will have relevant and diverse experience in a similar role in Local Government or the broader sector with a transferable skill set to meet the needs of this position.
